CLUB OF ROME

Founded in 1968, the CoR describes itself as “a group of world citizens, sharing a common concern for the future of humanity.” It consists of current and former Heads of State, UN bureaucrats, high-level politicians and government officials, diplomats, scientists, economists, and business leaders from around the globe.

The Club of Rome subsequently founded two sibling organizations, the Club of Budapest and the Club of Madrid. The former is focused on social and cultural aspects of their agenda, while the latter concentrates on the political aspects. All three of these ‘Clubs’ share many common members and hold joint meetings and conferences. As explained in other articles on this website it is abundantly clear that these are three heads of the same beast. The CoR has also established a network of 33 National Associations. Membership of the ‘main Club’ is limited to 100 individuals at any one time. Some members, like Al Gore and Maurice Strong, are affiliated through their respective National Associations (e.g.USACOR, CACOR etc).

I would like to start this analysis of the Club of Rome by listing some prominent members of the CoR and its two sub-groups, the Clubs of Budapest and Madrid. Personally it isn’t what the CoR is that I find so astonishing; it is WHO the CoR is! This isn’t some quirky little group of green activists or obscure politicians. They are the most senior officials in the United Nations, current and ex-world leaders, and the founders of some of the most influential environmental organisations. When you read their reports in the context of who they are – its gives an entirely new, and frightening, context to their extreme claims.

Some current members of the Club of Rome or its two siblings:

Al Gore – former VP of the USA, leading climate change campaigner, Nobel Peace Prize winner, Academy Award winner, Emmy winner. Gore lead the US delegations to the Rio Earth Summit and Kyoto Climate Change conference. He chaired a meeting of the full Club of Rome held in Washington DC in 1997.

Javier Solana – Secretary General of the Council of the European Union, High Representative for EU Foreign Policy.

Maurice Strong – former Head of the UN Environment Programme, Chief Policy Advisor to Kofi Annan, Secretary General of the Rio Earth Summit, co-author (with Gorbachev) of the Earth Charter, co-author of the Kyoto Protocol, founder of the Earth Council, devout Baha’i.

Mikhail Gorbachev – CoR executive member, former President of the Soviet Union, founder of Green Cross International and the Gorbachev Foundation, Nobel Peace Prize winner, co-founder (with Hidalgo) of the Club of Madrid, co-author (with Strong) of the Earth Charter.

Diego Hidalgo – CoR executive member, co-founder (with Gorbachev) of the Club of Madrid, founder and President of the European Council on Foreign Relations in association with George Soros.

Ervin Laszlo – founding member of the CoR, founder and President of the Club of Budapest, founder and Chairman of the World Wisdom Council.

Anne Ehrlich – Population Biologist. Married to Paul Ehrlich with whom she has authored many books on human overpopulation. Also a former director of Friends of the Earth and the Sierra Club, and a member of the UN’s Global Roll of Honor.

Hassan bin Talal – President of the CoR, President of the Arab Thought Forum, founder of the World Future Council, recently named as the United Nations ‘Champion of the Earth‘.

Sir Crispin Tickell – former British Permanent Representative to the United Nations and Permanent Representative on the Security Council, Chairman of the ‘Gaia Society’, Chairman of the Board of the Climate Institute, leading British climate change campaigner.

Father Berry Thomas – Catholic Priest who is one of the leading proponents of deep ecology, eco spirituality and global consciousness.

David Rockefeller – CoR executive member, former Chairman of Chase Manhattan Bank, founder of the Trilateral Commission, executive member of the World Economic Forum, donated land on which the United Nations stands.

Stephen Schneider – Stanford Professor of Biology and Global Change. Professor Schneider was among the earliest and most vocal proponents of man-made global warming and a lead author of many IPCC reports.

Bill Clinton – former President of the United States, founder of the Clinton Global Iniative.

Jimmy Carter – former President of the United States, Nobel Peace Prize Laureate.

Bill Gates – founder of Microsoft, philanthropist

and many more….

The concept of ‘environmental sustainability’ was first brought to widespread public attention in 1972 by the Club of Rome in their book entitledThe Limits to Growth. The official summary can be read here. The report basically concluded that the growth of the human population, and an increase in prosperity, would cause an ecological collapse within the next hundred years:

“If the present growth trends in world population, industrialization, pollution, food production, and resource depletion continue unchanged, the limits to growth on this planet will be reached sometime within the next one hundred years. The most probable result will be a rather sudden and uncontrollable decline in both population and industrial capacity.”

“It is possible to alter these growth trends and to establish a condition of ecological and economic stability that is sustainable far into the future. The state of global equilibrium could be designed so that the basic material needs of each person on earth are satisfied and each person has an equal opportunity to realize his individual human potential.”

“The overwhelming growth in world population caused by the positive birth-rate loop is a recent phenomenon, a result of mankind’s very successful reduction of worldwide mortality. The controlling negative feedback loop has been weakened, allowing the positive loop to operate virtually without constraint. There are only two ways to restore the resulting imbalance. Either the birth rate must be brought down to equal the new, lower death rate, or the death rate must rise again.”

“The result of stopping population growth in 1975 and industrial capital growth in 1985 with no other changes is that population and capital reach constant values at a relatively high level of food, industrial output and services per person. Eventually, however, resource shortages reduce industrial output and the temporarily stable state degenerates.”

“Man possesses, for a small moment in his history, the most powerful combination of knowledge, tools, and resources the world has ever known. He has all that is physically necessary to create a totally new form of human society - one that would be built to last for generations. The two missing ingredients are a realistic, long-term goal that can guide mankind to the equilibrium society and the Human Will to achieve that goal.”

“Without such a goal and a commitment to it, short-term concerns will generate the exponential growth that drives the world system toward the limits of the earth and ultimate collapse. With that goal and that commitment, mankind would be ready now to begin a controlled, orderly transition from growth to global equilibrium.”

So as you can see the even back in 1972 the Club considered modern industrial society to be completely unsustainable. They state that even if population was frozen at 1975 levels, and industrial activity at 1985 levels, then the earth’s ecosystems would still ultimately collapse. The CoR has not changed these views in the slightest, in fact, in the last three decades their warnings have become increasingly more urgent and alarmist. They call this imminent collapse the ‘World Problematic’ and their proposed solution the ‘World Resolutique.’

The Limits to Growth is considered to be the most successful environmental publication ever produced and propelled the Club of Rome to its current position of an environmental thought-leader and a major consultant to the United Nations. It has been translated into more than forty languages and sold more than 30 million copies. Throughout the 1970s and 80s the concept that humanity was irreparably damaging the earth gained popularity and facilitated the formation of mainstream and activist environmental groups.

All meetings of the CoR are held ‘behind closed doors’ and no public records are kept. However the Club does produce many ‘discussion reports’ that can be found on its website. The United Nations contracts the Club of Rome to prepare ‘Policy Guidance Documents’ which it uses in formulating its policies and programmes. A quick search for Club of Rome on the UNESCO publications site reveals 250 such documents. There are many other documents there authored by CoR members acting in other capacities. As many high ranking UN officials are actually CoR members, this is like a man asking himself for advice, and then agreeing with that advice. Not very objective! Various UN organizations also hold joint conferences with the CoR.

While checking the Club of Rome website this morning the first item in their ‘current news’ section refers to a briefing delivered by the CoR to G8 officials in preparation for the upcoming G8 meeting. The second item is a summary report from the Club of Romes ’strategy planning retreat’ with 150 senior UNESCO officials. The joint CoR/UNESCO communique states:

“We are at the end of an era – a turning point in history. We are approaching the threshold of runaway climate change. We underline the urgency of radical action to reduce emissions, by both immediate action and longer-term measures; to stress to political leaders the non-linear nature of the processes at work which will generate sudden change; and to assert that the overriding priority must be to avert the impending risk of catastrophic climate change.” – CoR/UNESCO communique

Twenty years after the Limits to Growth the CoR published another major report that became an instant best-seller. In The First Global Revolution the Club of Rome claimed that the time to act had run out. It was now or never. Delay in beginning corrective measures will increase the damage to the world ecological system and ultimately reduce the human population that will eventually be supportable. They also stated that democratic governments are far too short-sighted to deal with the ‘problematic’ and new forms of governance are urgently required.

In order not too violate any copyright protection I will not reproduce the text of the book on this site. However, it is permissible for me to quote a brief excerpt in the context of this wider discussion. The complete text (third ed.) can be read and searched online at Google Books. As you read the following quote (from page 75, first ed.), please remember the names of the leaders listed above. This is not some quirky little cult. This is the stated agenda of the leaders of the environmental movement:

“This is the way we are setting the scene for mankind’s encounter with the planet. The opposition between the two ideologies that have dominated the 20th century has collapsed, forming their own vacuum and leaving nothing but crass materialism.

It is a law of Nature that any vacuum will be filled and therefore eliminated unless this is physically prevented. “Nature,” as the saying goes, “abhors a vacuum.” And people, as children of Nature, can only feel uncomfortable, even though they may not recognize that they are living in a vacuum. How then is the vacuum to be eliminated?

It would seem that humans need a common motivation, namely a common adversary, to organize and act together in the vacuum; such a motivation must be found to bring the divided nations together to face an outside enemy, either a real one or else one invented for the purpose.

New enemies therefore have to be identified.
New strategies imagined, new weapons devised.

The common enemy of humanity is man.

In searching for a new enemy to unite us, we came up with the idea that pollution, the threat of global warming, water shortages, famine and the like would fit the bill. All these dangers are caused by human intervention, and it is only through changed attitudes and behavior that they can be overcome. The real enemy then, is humanity itself.

The old democracies have functioned reasonably well over the last 200 years, but they appear now to be in a phase of complacent stagnation with little evidence of real leadership and innovation

Democracy is not a panacea. It cannot organize everything and it is unaware of its own limits. These facts must be faced squarely. Sacrilegious though this may sound, democracy is no longer well suited for the tasks ahead. The complexity and the technical nature of many of today’s problems do not always allow elected representatives to make competent decisions at the right time.”

So, long before Global Warming became a well known issue Al Gore and his Club of Rome colleagues stated that they would use the threat of global warming to unite humanity and “set the scene for mankind’s encounter with the planet.” In the same way that shamans and sooth-sayers in medieval times used their advance knowledge of when eclipses would occur to control and terrify their followers, they would use a natural phenomenon as their ‘enemy’ to achieve their objectives. But then they state that although Global Warming would be presented as the initial enemy, the real enemy of humanity would be portrayed as man himself. I am already noticing how frequently the terms climate change and overpopulation are being uttered in the same breath.

Having discovered that all these influential environmental leaders were associated with the Club of Rome I set about reading all the reports, lectures and speeches on their website as well as the reports commissioned by the UN. I was amazed to find that they lay out their entire agenda for anyone who has eyes to see. Exactly the same themes, concepts and phrases are repeated continuously throughout their publications. They are full of references to ‘imminent collapse‘, ‘dying planet‘, ‘our mother Gaia‘, ‘wrenching transformation‘, ‘united global society‘, ‘global consciousness‘, ‘new forms of governance‘ etc. They truly intend to bring about the world’s First Global Revolution.

The Kosmos Journal provides perhaps the best insight into their worldview. This Journal was founded by the Club of Rome in partnership with with several of its sibling organizations. As described in my article, The Green Web, the CoR has established a network of supporting organizations, each focusing on a different aspect of their agenda. The Kosmos Journal contains many articles written by CoR members. The basic premise of their worldview is:

“Modern industrial civilization is fast outstripping the Earth’s natural regenerative and life-supporting capacity…”

“At current rates of resource depletion and environmental degradation a near complete collapse of ecological integrity will occur within the next 100 years…”

“Gaia, our Mother, who nurtured humanity for countless millennial within her womb of evolution, is dying…”

“A small window of opportunity now exists to transform humanity into a sustainable global interdependent society based on respect and reverence for Earth…”

“A radical change from the current trajectory is required, a complete reordering of global society…”

“Humans only truly unite when faced with a powerful external enemy…”

“At this time a new enemy must be found, one either real or invented for the purpose…”

“Democracy has failed us, a new system of global governance, based on environmental imperatives, must be implemented quickly…”

Now that Obama is firmly ensconced in the White House the Club of Rome and its affiliates are swinging into high gear. The CoR recently unveiled a new 3-year program entitled A New Path for World Development. The Club of Madrid has launched the Road to Copenhagen, a joint program with the UN Environment Program intended to facilitate a binding global climate change treaty in 2009. Perhaps most interesting is the State of Global Emergency declared by the Club of Budapest in October 2008. The declaration states that we only have four or five years to prevent a total collapse of the Earth’s ecosystems. To quote from the document:

“If we continue on our present unsustainable path, by mid-century the Earth may become largely uninhabitable for human and most other forms of life. Such a total systems collapse could occur much sooner, however, due to runaway global warming or other ecocatastrophes, and/or by nuclear wars triggered by religious, ethnic or geopolitical conflicts or access to diminishing natural resources. The macro-trends driving these global threats and challenges have been apparent for decades and are now building toward a threshold of irreversibility. The scientific modeling of complex systems shows that when systems reach a state of critical instability, they either break down to their components or break through to a higher order of integral functioning. At these “points of no return” maintaining the status quo, or returning to a previous mode of organization and functioning, are not a feasible option.

The acceleration of critical trends and cross-impacts among them indicates that the ‘window of opportunity’ for pulling out of the present global crisis and breaking through to a more peaceful and sustainable world is likely to be no more than four to five years from the end of 2008. This is close in time to the Mayan 2012 prophecy for the end of the current world. The period around the end of 2012 is likely to be a turbulent one for this and other reasons. Predictions coming from the physical sciences foresee disturbances in the geomagnetic, electromagnetic and related fields that embed the planet causing significant damage to telecommunications and impacting many aspects of human activity and health. For the esoteric traditions the end of 2012 will be the end of the known world, although the more optimistic interpretations speak of a new world taking the place of the old.”

This may seem very strange – a group of prominent world leaders talking about ancient Mayan prophecies, but as I describe in my article,Gaia’s Gurus, many leading global warming activists openly advocate earth-reverence and other New Age philosophies. Gaia, Global Warming, and Global Governance are intricately entwined, if one truly believes in Gaia, and that she is being fatally harmed by the current system, then a new system of global governance and control would appear to be the only answer. Global Warming provides the ideal ‘enemy’ to bring about this objective. It is easy for these global elitists to talk about sacrifice, wrenching transformation, population reduction and eliminating the use of fossil fuels but the implications are truly horrendous.

Even if you think this is all nonsense I would ask you to at least read these quotes and excerpts, and think about the implications of their agenda. Everyday I am amazed at how quickly things are changing. It is coming hard and fast. It’s almost like reading a book and then watching the television adaptation, except that this adaptation is not a movie – it’s on the evening news. As Al Gore said in the closing sentence of his statement after he won the Nobel Peace Prize … “This is just the beginning.”
12 Step Program to Recover America
Posted by Savant Noir

It is obvious to us all by now that Obama & Company are out to transform the basic fabric of America. He actually told us he would; just few of us realized what he fully meant. In fact, Obama is not the originator of this phrase, but after careful planning and plotting he was chosen to be the anointed one, to be the Hammer that delivers the final nail into the coffin of America. By the end of his regime, he will be the Messiah of Our Future dispensing his Golden Alms to a populace that will be dependent upon them for their very survival. It is a bi-partisan agenda, for when the coffin lid shuts, we all suffocate together.

I will make my stance very simple. I believe in the Constitution and the principles it was founded upon. I believe in those values and morals that developed a self-deterministic life that was the fortitude of the American psyche that inspired our fledgling nation to greatness. I believe you feel exactly the same way.

As the cacophony of change whirls about us in a cyclonic maelstrom of confusion, I feel it is important to focus more on the question many have: “what can we do?”

To answer this question is going to require about an hour of your time initially. I have consolidated information that is necessary to become an aware and thereby effective voice of American activism.

If you will notice, the links below come from wordpress. I have set this up for the sole purpose of simplicity, to set aside a space that does not lose my blog posts amongst all the other great and insightful posts that exist here. Links pertaining to this circumscribed subject matter I include here for you.

We are distracted, and this is exactly what Obama wants. Not only are we doing it to ourselves, we are also allowing ourselves to be played like puppets. It is a tactical trick to split the Left and Right, the White and the Black. Never forget that resistance breeds only counter-resistance, and this serves as the ultimate distraction so the hidden strategic agenda can be slipped in like a thief in the night.

Step 1: The Big Picture: Although some of you are already aware of this, Obama is leading the charge to transform this country in a manner that is consistent with the United Nations protocols of Sustainable Development/Agenda 21. It is of the utmost importance to understand this thoroughly. You cannot possibly perceive all these Bills in their proper perspective unless you understand the backdrop in which they all reside and tie together. Our energies become exhausted trying to keep up with “content”. That too is a tactic of obfuscation. Congressional concessions followed by more massive bills is all done for the purpose of hiding“context”. When we understand the ‘whole’, we are not so easily distracted by the trickery of the superficial. We can see things for what they really are, and this will automatically sharpen our focus and bring the fear of revelation to them!

Sustainable Development/Agenda 21

Step 2: Human Awareness: The psychology of the liberal mind and liberal society needs to be understood. It was brought to my attention that a liberal Psychiatrist by the name of Dr. Haidt of Yale University had conducted a worldwide testing model and over the course of 10 years, came to pretty much the same conclusions as myself. An analysis of his findings follow my links. The reason why this is essential is to develop communication strategies that will enable us to possibly convey something to our Liberal fellow Americans. Without a more unified front, we are doomed.

Liberal Regressive Immaturity
Liberal Individual Narcissistic Characteristics
Social Narcissism
Moral Adolescence

Step 3: Reason and Logic: This is not likely to go over well with the typical Liberal, for the very reasons explained above. Nonetheless, we all need ’something’ in our arsenal to attempt to convey. Here you will find a post that moved away from its original intent, but I highlighted those questions that are germane, and can be asked of a Liberal and might serve to open up a dialogue.

Communications Between the Left and the Right

Step 4: Follow Through-a strategy after the tea parties and rallies: Our success in rallying Conservatives for the incredible 912 March is only half the action–it is the ‘threat’. It is reduced to meaninglessness unless we make good on our threat. If we do not demonstrate that we are firm in our resolve, the future is made all the tougher for us. If we threaten to ‘kick them out’, then by God, we better do it! To that end, the link below provides a strategy for voting in 2010.

Voting Strategies-2010

Also, there is another page that has links to every seat up for election in every state at every level. We need to vote from the ground up.

All State Races

Step 5: Unification: I belong to 25 ning sites, another 20 facebook groups, an active writer on I don’t know how many online newspapers, etc. It’s ridiculous. I am overwhelmed and I am sure you are as well. Each individual wakes up each day with a finite amount of time and energy. Neither I nor you can be effective if we are dividing our time and energy in 50 different directions. I am not suggesting we quit our respective sites, but I am suggesting very strongly that at least we have ONE place where we ALL connect. To this end, I suggest Facebook. As it is, most people from all these different sites have a Facebook account or can easily get one. We have to start somewhere, so add me (Savant Noir) to your Friends. Then we need to start going to each other’s homepage and adding each other’s friends. This needs to be a viral effort. The result of this is that one blog post goes to ALL. We don’t have to keep going here and there.

Step 6: Selectivity: There are sites that are well funded and have built operational models that best highlight the strategic goals I am espousing herein. Icacus for their vetting processes, Citizens in Action for their fax center, AmericaC2C for their State participation groups, and Team Grassfire for their national campaigns. I recommend these sites be used for their specific purpose and we start reducing the distractions in our lives.

http://www.teamgrassfire.com/
http://citizensinaction.ning.com/
http://icaucus.ning.com/
http://americac2c.ning.com/

In addition to condensing our site participation, we can save ourselves a lot of wasted energy by limiting our research sources and our daily information sources. There is so much hyperbole, speculation, and just outright hysterical nonsense out there, that this just either helps spread falsehoods and rumor, or bogs others down who have to research its veracity. On my WordPress site, I have condensed resource links down to the ‘best of the best’ , and broken them into groups. You can rely on the Heritage Foundation, Cato Institute, American Thinker, Sunlight Foundation, Wall Street Journal, etc., as online sources. If your resource articles do not have collaborative links or references attached to it, chances are it is half-baked truths. This should serve as a guideline to your own posts as well. If you are making a post about ‘facts’, include your reliable references to substantiate them. In this manner, you do not force others to have to do your homework for you, nor, are you guilty of spreading rumor yourself. As an example, WND I deem to be 70% reliable, and often their reference links are Hal Turner or some other sensationalist. There are many government links on my WordPress site as well, several of them rather unique.

Step 7: Community Participation. An example of this is a program I am working on with my fellow members of the local Republican Assembly, where we are going out to various college campuses and meeting with the Young Republican groups there, helping them distribute literature, with ideas, meetings, etc. As you know, the youth are by great majority in support of Obama, and being programmed into the Liberal Agenda. The youth of today is the preservation of our country tomorrow. Reach out to them.

Occasionally I will design fliers and post them. These can be posted in your neighborhoods and distributed among friends and family. We must continually think of creative ways to impart our message. Newspaper editorials is another way. Share your ideas regarding pro-activity with the rest of us, this is a group effort.

I could go on and on with ways to be an active participant. Everything that we do counts. Continue to email and fax the politicians. When you have a letter you urge others to send, then help them in these efforts by providing the necessary links and information to complete the task you are requesting of your fellow patriot. Town hall meetings, tea parties, and major rallies such as this one in Washington will still require the impetus of your presence, so let’s keep the pressure on.

Step 8: Liberal Websites: I am not suggesting being a disruptive troll. When we post to one another our conservative thoughts or articles from conservative sites, we are merely preaching to the choir. As infuriating a task as it is, I still try to take a message straight to the heart of the liberal camp. I post at Daily Kos, Huffington Post, and the DNCC. If you are armed with what I hope to be some of the additional knowledge I have provided here, then you have some new approaches to try. If you convert just 1 liberal, they in turn might convert 10.

Step 9: Blog Sites: Create you own personal Blog Site with WordPress or Blogspot. Create several if you want, devoting each one to a specific topic. This is an important action you can easily take. When you create a blog site, search engines will pick it up. Try and choose a name for your blog site that will be most guaranteed to get hits, such as: Health Care today. I have created another blog site myself, called The Green Scheme, which is solely devoted to Agenda 21. Read my opening paragraph (at the above link) for an example of how I advertise a ‘neutral’ position on the facts.

When we post to each other, we communicate our passions that serve to galavinze each other, and to seek identification of our frustrations. The idea behind creating your personal blog sites is to catch the attention of Liberals as well; to help spread a message. Liberals are not going to go to Team Sarah (for instance) for the purpose of trying to learn anything. Avoid names that reveal a particular political leaning. When you make posts on these blogs, stick with the facts and give solid, reputable reference links. The idea is to encourage the viewer to read the post, and to then make their own judgment. If your post says: “guess what that insane bitch Pelosi did this week….”, you will have set in motion their resistance and failed to get your point across.

When you make a post, be sure to add ‘tags’. This is the best way to get ‘hits’ to your website. Get all your friends to get a blog space as well. You can have as many as you want, and they take about 30 seconds to set up. Take your area of most interest, knowledge, and concern and make a blog today! This is an excellent way to carve out some space on the internet for our Conservative view. This idea came to me when researching Agenda 21. There are literally thousands of sites out there all extolling the virtues of ‘going green’, and what a hero Al Gore and Van Jones are. I found only 2 websites that reveal the political dangers inherent in their method of carrying out their agenda. Help make our presence known to the WORLD, not just to each other!

Step 10: Take some time and go out to small businesses and drop off a flyer. Small business owners tend to be Conservatives that don’t really have enough time in the day to stay aware of current events. They also may have 5-100 employees that they in turn can influence. It will cost you next to nothing to print off 500 or so flyers from your home printer, or simply go to Kinko’s. Enclosed below is a link to a flyer I designed that you can use, or, desing one yourself. It is also important to make people aware of Agenda 21, the school of thought which is driving ALL this current legislation. A brochure that can be printed out is located at the bottom left hand side of the article itself.

Health Care Flyer
Agenda 21 Brochure
Step 11: Write this number down (202) 224-3121. This is the only number you will ever need to call every Senator and every Congressman. It is much easier just to use automatic call-back than it is to continually call a new number each time. It takes 3 hours to call every member of Congress and the Senate, but it is easier when you need only concern yourself with this single number. Calling after hours, the answering machine will give you 3 minutes of talk time. Use it wisely. Write out what it is you want to say. You can also save time by just calling Committee Members when various Bills are being deliberated in committee.

We must win back America. We can win and we will win, all it takes is the desire that burns intensely enough in your soul to propel you to action. The next step is to turn that action into effective action. I hope this serves as a springboard to ignite your imagination and spirit.

Step 12: YOU! Many of you are like myself, a political neophyte. I don’t profess to be ‘the best’ or to ‘know the most’. Hell, I don’t even know if I am any good at this…I only know that I am trying my best. I am just one more spoke in the wheel. Unless we find the resources to be a light unto ourselves, our mission will fail. WE are the world. What you see around you, WE created. When we change ourselves, the world will change to reflect our collective will. I am a single pebble casting myself upon the waters. I make a little ripple, and not much of a splash. Stand by my side and we make a bigger splash and create more ripples. Stand united and we will explode and create a tsunami of change!

THE UNITED NATIONS AGENDA 21

The truth about the United Nations! More and more Americans are coming to the chilling realization that U.S. membership in the United Nations poses a very real threat to our survival as a free and independent nation. Here are some good reasons to be concerned:

1. The UN’s basic philosophy is both anti-American and pro-totalitarian. Our Declaration of Independence proclaims the “self-evident” truth that “men … are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights.” But, in its Covenant on Civil and Political Rights, the UN ignores God’s existence, implies that it grants rights, and then repeatedly claims power “as provided by law” to cancel them out of existence. If any government can place restrictions on such fundamental rights as freedom of speech, the right to keep and bear arms, freedoms of the press, association, movement, and religion, soon there will be no such freedoms.

2. The UN was founded by Communists and CFR members whose common goal was a socialist world government. Sixteen key U.S. officials who shaped the policies leading to the creation of the UN were later exposed in sworn testimony as secret Communists. These included Alger Hiss, chief planner of the 1945 founding conference, and the Assistant Secretary of the Treasury, Harry Dexter White. The Soviet Union under Stalin and the entire Communist Party USA apparatus worked tirelessly to launch the UN. Since its beginning in 1921, the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) has always worked for world government. The key CFR founder, Edward Mandell House, in his book, Philip Dru: Administrator, called for “Socialism as dreamed of by Karl Marx …” The CFR was an early promoter of the UN, and 43 members of the U.S. delegation at the UN founding conference were or would become CFR members.

3. The UN has always chosen socialist one-worlders for leaders. The Secretary-General at the UN founding conference was Soviet spy Alger Hiss. He was followed as Secretary-General by Norwegian socialist Trygve Lie, Swedish socialist Dag Hammarskjold, Burmese Marxist U Thant, Austrian former Nazi Kurt Waldheim, Peruvian socialist Javier Perez deCuellar, and Egyptian socialist Boutros Boutros-Ghali. Each has consistently used the full resources of the UN to promote Communist and socialist causes around the world. The Socialist International (which proudly traces its origins to the First International headed by Karl Marx) today claims tens of millions of members in 54 countries. At its 1962 Congress, it declared: “The ultimate objective of the parties of the Socialist International is nothing less than world government … Membership of the United Nations must be made universal …” Almost all of the UN’s “independent” commissions for the last thirty years have been headed by members of the Socialist International.

4. The UN seeks power to control the environment, population, children … the world. Both the 1972 UN Environmental Program and the 1992 UN Conference on Environment and Development laid plans to whip up widespread environmental concerns (some exaggerated, many completely fabricated). These concerns would then be used as justification for increasing UN authority on environmental issues. The statements and publications of these UN programs leave little doubt that their goal is a world government with the power to cancel national sovereignty, regulate economic activity, and control the human race all, of course, under the banner of “protecting the environment.” In late 1994, UN planners meeting in Egypt approved a 20-year, $17 billion plan to “stabilize” the world’s population. The UN’s goal is to reduce population selectively by encouraging abortion, sterilization, and controlled human breeding. The UN Convention on the Rights of the Child also claims power not only to grant rights but also to cancel them “as provided by law.” It claims that governments must guarantee children “freedom of expression … freedom to seek, receive, and impart information … freedom of thought, conscience, and religion,” regardless of the wishes of their parents.

5. The UN Charter outlines the path to world tyranny. After giving lip service about not intervening “in matters which are essentially within the domestic jurisdiction of any state …,” the UN Charter continues, “but this principle shall not prejudice the application of enforcement measures under Chapter VII.” Chapter VII discusses sanctions and boycotts, but if these are decided to “be inadequate, it may take such action by air, sea, or land forces as may be necessary to maintain or restore international peace and security.” The UN used this broad assertion of authority as the pretext for its armed intervention in the domestic turmoil in Somalia and Haiti.

6. The UN is building its own army to enforce its will. In 1992, UN Secretary-General Boutros Boutros-Ghali, fulfilling a directive from the UN Security Council, unveiled An Agenda for Peace, a plan to strengthen UN “peacekeeping” capabilities. The plan calls for armed forces to be made available to the UN “on a permanent basis.” It ominously warns, “The time of absolute and exclusive sovereignty has passed” and proceeds to name a long list of “risks for stability” that would be used to justify use of the “permanent” UN army to enforce its will. Incredibly, U.S. leaders are using America’s military to pave the way for this UN army. In Bosnia, Somalia, Haiti, and elsewhere, foreign UN commanders have controlled our troops. When 15 Americans were killed over Iraq in mid-1994, Vice-President Gore extended condolences “to the families of those who died in the service of the United Nations.” Even more incredibly, it has been the official policy of the U.S. government since 1961 to disarm America and create a UN army. This policy concludes: “progressive controlled disarmament would proceed to the point where no nation would have the military power to challenge the progressively strengthened UN Peace Force.” (See State Department publication 7277: Freedom >From War.)

7. The UN doesn’t settle disputes – it makes them worse! Our ambassador to the UN in 1982, although a UN supporter, admitted, “The UN has become an arena in which countries are drawn into problems they might never have become involved in. ” Ask yourself: Should Seychelles or Benin or Guyana or Barbados have to take sides in a clash that breaks out on the opposite side of the world? When centuries-old animosities erupt in the former Yugoslavia, why does the UN inject its presence with troops, blockades, bombing, and a parade of speeches? American troops serving as globocops for the UN become targets for criminals and terrorists. In 1983, 241 U.S. Marines were blown to bits at the Beirut airport. Five years later, a U.S. Marine Lieutenant Colonel was kidnapped and eventually murdered by Arab terrorists while in a UN unit in Lebanon (he was unarmed – as required by the UN). The UN “peacekeeping mission” in Somalia cost the lives of another 36 Americans in 1993.

8. The UN ignores Communist atrocities but targets non-Communist nations and leaders. When Soviet tanks rolled into Hungary in the 1950s, when the Chinese Communists were murdering Tibetans in the 1960s, when the Soviets were butchering civilians in Afghanistan in the 1970s and 1980s, when Chechnya was brutalized by the Russians in the 1990s, the UN did nothing! But the UN declared tiny Rhodesia “a threat to international peace” in the 1960s, enabling pro-communist terrorist Robert Mugabe to seize power. And it was a UN-led campaign that brought self-described Communist and convicted terrorist Nelson Mandela to power in South Africa in the 1990s.

9. The UN embraces Communist China – history’s most murderous criminal regime. In 1949, anti-Communist Nationalist China, one of the UN’s founding members, was forced from the mainland to Taiwan by the Communists. In 1971, the UN expelled Taiwan and embraced the brutal Red Chinese government – a government responsible for over 35 million murders. When the vote admitting Red China was announced, UN delegates danced in the aisles to show their contempt for America and their joy at the triumph of Red China.

10. The UN is a moral cesspool filled with perverts and fat cats. In 1993, the UN Economic and Social Council granted consultant status to the International Gay and Lesbian Association which includes the North American Man/Boy Love Association (advocates of child molestation) and the Dutch group Vereniging Martijn (which also promotes use of children as sex objects). In 1988, the top Belgian UN Children’s Fund (UNICEF) official was one of a group convicted of running a child sex ring. Moral bankruptcy is commonplace in UN operations. In Zimbabwe, UNICEF-donated equipment helped terrorists seize power. In Vietnam, the Communists received $13 million from UNICEF while untold thousands of boat people fled for their lives. Fat cats? UN employees are paid 40% more than comparable U.S. workers and have subsidized rent. An ex-UNICEF official confirmed that “pampered and cosseted staffs” of various aid agencies “absorb 80% of all UN expenditures.”

11. America supplies the money, the UN then finances tyrants and assorted enemies of the U.S., and conditions in the nations “aided” grow worse. U.S. taxpayers pay 25% of the UN budget plus 31% of the UN special-agency budgets. Additional billions of our dollars go to the IMF, World Bank, and other UN related lending agencies where they have been used for incredibly wasteful and subversive UN projects. (Not surprising since these agencies were designed by Soviet agent Harry Dexter White and Fabian Socialist John Maynard Keynes.) Socialist International spokesman Hilary Marquand aptly described the IMF as “in essence a Socialist conception.” World Bank “aid” funds went to brutal Marxist dictator Mengistu while he was causing large-scale starvation and death in Ethiopia; to Tanzanian dictator Julius Nyerere as he drove peasants off their land and burned their huts; and to the Vietnamese Communists, sending thousands of boat people into the sea. Even Newsweek magazine concluded that the UN’s foreign aid programs tend “to prop up incompetent governments or subsidize economies so they can never stand on their own.”

12. The UN is a war organization, NOT a peace organization. Article 42 of the UN Charter claims authority to “take such action by air, sea, or land forces as may be necessary to maintain or restore international peace and security.” But the UN definition of “peace” is never given. Tyrannical regimes throughout history have defined “peace” as the absence of all opposition. To achieve “peace” in Katanga in 1961, UN planes bombed hospitals, schools, administrative buildings, and private homes. Katanga was an anti-Communist province of the Belgian Congo seeking freedom from the Communist-controlled central government. The UN is not now, and has never been, a peace organization. It will use whatever military power it is given to force all nations of the world to submit.

12 Step Program to Recover America by Savant Noir

12 Step Program to Recover America

Complete List of Representatives: click here:

Also a former director of Friends of the Earth and the Sierra Club, and a member of the UN’s Global Roll of Honor.

and many more….
